Widow accuses landlord of rape: Police

A widow has accused her landlord of raping her multiple times over the last one year, the police said today.
An FIR in connection with the incident had been lodged, pursuant to a court order, they added.
The victim had alleged that the accused -- Virendra alias Lala -- raped her several times over the last one year, the police said.
The woman approached the police after she got pregnant, they said, adding that the accused was her landlord.
Circle Officer Avnish Kumar said an FIR was lodged in this regard and a probe launched.
