Will buy power from outside if necessary: Ker power Minister

Kerala Power Minister M M Mani today said government would consider buying power from outside if it is necessary to avoid load-shedding to meet the state's demands.
"The government's priority is to avoid any difficulty for people due to power crunch," he told reporters after visiting the Moolamattom power house here, where three generators were shut down yesterday due to valve leakage.
"The government is mulling to buy power from outside if it is necessary to avoid load-shedding.Our priority is to avoid any difficulty for people due to this," he said.
The minister also said the technical snag at the power house would be resolved by December 16.
