A five-day winter session of Himachal Pradesh assembly is to be held from November 30 to December 4 next.
A notification to this effect was issued by Governor Acharya Devvrat last night.
Releasing the approved calendar for the session, Assembly Speaker, Brij Bihari Lal Butail, said the session would be held at Dharamsala and there would be five sittings including the private member's day.
Normally, the winter session of the assembly is held in third or last week of December but it has been advanced by about two weeks this year in view of elections to Panchayati Raj bodies and urban local bodies, slated in December/January.
