Wives of soldiers who died in wars felicitated

The Army Wives Welfare Association (AWWA) of One Strike Corps here today felicitated wives of soldiers who laid down their lives in the 1962 India-China war, Indo-Pak wars of 1965 and 1971 and during operations in Sri Lanka.
Sudha Shivane, Zonal President of One Strike, felicitated the 'Veer Naris' whose husbands laid down their lives fighting wars.
AWWA, which today celebrated its 48th Raising Day, aims at holistic development and well-being of Army wives including their children and rehabilitation of war widows and differently-abled children.
