Woman, 2 infant daughters found dead; husband suspected

A woman and her two infant daughters were today found dead at their rented accommodation in Bhangel area here, with the police suspecting that the murders were carried out by the husband, who is missing.
Amit, his wife Sarla and daughters Tannu (one and a half years old) and Mannu (six months old) lived in a rented room at Bhangel village here, police said.
Today, Sarla and the two daughters were found dead in the room while Amit was not traceable, they said.
Police said Sarla, a resident of Greater Noida, was married three years ago to Bhangel resident Amit.

It is alleged that since marriage, her in-laws had been physically and mentally torturing her over dowry.
Her father Jagvir alleged that her in-laws were demanding a car, police said.

During investigation, it was learnt that the couple had a fight last night.
Polie said a murder case had been registered and dowry- related sections had been included.
Police has detained Sarla's in-laws and are questioning them.
They said it had also been alleged that Sarla's in-laws were angry with her as she had given birth to two daughters and they wanted son, police said.
