45-year-old Manoj Choudhary, a property dealer, was shot dead by three persons in Jalalabad area of the district on August 11.
According to police, Choudhary's elder sister Shakuntla had hired three persons-- Amit, Chanderveer and Farman, and had paid them Rs 1.5 lakh for killing him.
Senior Superintendent of Police Dharmender Singh told reporters here that there was a property dispute between Shukuntla and Choudhary's families.
"During interrogation, Shukantla confessed that she got her younger brother killed by the three contract killers," another senior police officer said.
