A 35-year-old woman was today allegedly bludgeoned to death by her paramour for having another affair in Humayun Nagar area here, police said.
Shabnam was living with Zafar (40) at his place after getting separated from her husband Shaukin. Zafar suspected that she had another affair. Today, they engaged in a heated argument over some issue and flying into a rage, Zafar repeatedly hit the woman in the head with a brick, Meerut's Superintendent of Police Om Prakash said.
On the basis of a complaint by the woman's brother-in-law in this regard, a case has been registered against the accused, who has since been arrested.
