Woman branded witch, beaten up in Raj

A 30-year-old woman was allegedly beaten up after being branded as a witch in Dungarpur district, police said.
The incident took place on December 28 when the woman along with her husband was thrashed by four men who accused her of practising witchcraft, SHO Bhanu Pratap Sing said.
An FIR was registered on Tuesday through a court compliant (Istgasa), he said, adding no arrest has been made so far.
