Woman commits suicide by jumping off high rise in Ghaziabad

A 30-year-old married woman allegedly committed suicide by jumping off her 12th floor flat in Ramprastha society in Indirapuram area this afternoon, police said.
The victim, Neelam, lived with her husband, mother-in-law and two children in Ramprastha society in Indirapuram area.
"We received a call from a person stating that a woman jumped off her flat. Thereafter, a police team reached the police. Neelam was rushed to nearby hospital where she was declared brought dead," said a police officer.
Police interrogated her businessman husband, but no particular reason behind her extreme step has come out so far. No suicide note was recovered.

Police have sent her body for postmortem examination and are awaiting her autopsy report, officer added.
