Four members of a family were on their way to Jammu from Kishtwar when a boulder hit their vehicle at Kuligarh area of the district around 6:15 AM today, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kishtwar, Sandeep Wazir said.
While Seema Gupta (44) and her daughter Apurvi Gupta (16) were killed on the spot, Upinder Gupta and his son Udhav were rescued safely by police personnel deployed at the spot, he said.
Their family members were handed over the bodies legal and medical formalities were completed, the officer said.
