Woman detained at Amritsar airport

A woman passenger was detained today at Amritsar airport here after some cartridges were allegedly recovered from her during checking, a top police official said.
Amritsar Police Commissioner Jatinder Singh Aulakh said that he had been alerted about the incident by CISF authorities.
"I have been told that some cartridges have been recovered from a woman passenger who was to board a flight. I have asked my concerned area SHO and other officials to find out the details of the case," Aulakh told PTI over phone.
He said further investigations were under progress.
