Woman dies, 8 injured as SUV overturns in Noida

A 45-year-old woman died and eight of her relatives, including three minors, were seriously injured when the SUV they were travelling in overturned in southeast Delhi's Dwarka sub-city today.
All occupants of the car were rushed to a hospital where a woman identified as Anita was declared brought dead, a police official said.
According to the police, the incident was reported at Dwarka Sector 4 around 12.30 AM when Anita and her family members were heading towards Dwarka Sector 6 to attend a family function.
Her son, Yash (24), who was driving the car, told the police that he lost control over the wheels while trying to save a biker who suddenly came in front of their SUV.

Apart from Yash, the other injured persons were Lakshman (30), Nandika (39), Ravi (50), Ayush (18), Aryan (11), Ishant (17) and Ishita (13). The police have registered a case of rash driving and causing death by negligence, the police official added.
