Rampyari, who worked as a labourer, had slept last night here after consuming liquor. Her husband, Jagdish, also slept on the platform and discovered that she has died in the morning, police said.
The reason behind Rampyari's death is yet to be ascertain, they said.
"The couple earned their livelihood by working as labourers in the mandi. Jagdish is a habitual drinker and his wife also used to drink with him, usually," SHO Muhana mandi police station Surendra Singh said.
He informed that the body has been sent for postmortem.
