Woman hacked to death on suspicion of 'black magic'

A 40-year-old woman was today allegedly axed to death by her neighbour in Chhattisgarh's Korba district on suspicion that she practised black magic.
Police arrested Sukhnath Singh (42) following the incident which took place in Imliduggu area, said a local police official.
Singh suspected that Sadh Bai, a neighbour, practised black magic which led to his family members falling sick, the official said.
This morning, as her husband was away, Singh thrashed Sadh Bai and hacked her to death before fleeing from the spot.
Police subsequently arrested him. Further probe was on.
