Woman injured in crocodile attack

A woman was injured after being attacked by a crocodile which entered her house in Gangapurwa village in Katarniaghat Wildlife Sanctuary here.
The incident occurred last night when a crocodile entered the house of Jamuna Prasad and attacked his wife Meena (35) while they were sleeping, forest department officials said.
The woman was saved by villagers who caught the crocodile and later released it in a canal, they said.
The condition of the woman, who was admitted to a hospital, was stated to be stable.
