Woman jumps to death from 12th floor in Vaishali

A 57-year-old woman, who was said to be suffering from depression, allegedly committed suicide by jumping from the twelfth floor of a residential building in Vaishali area.
According to police, Veena Narula had gone for a morning walk this morning with her husband Satish Narula. She returned to their house before Satish and allegedly jumped to her death.
Veena, who lived with her husband, son and daughter-in-law in Ram Prastha Green Society, was said to be under depression for last many days, they said.
Satish is a retired employee of a major construction firm. Their elder son lives with his family in Pune, while younger son and his wife live with them.

The younger son had gone to Mumbai for a company tour while his wife, a teacher, left for her school early in the morning.
The body has been sent for post-mortem and investigation is on, police said.
