Woman kidnapped in Meerut

A 26-year-old woman was allegedly
kidnapped by unidentified men near her house in Daurala area here, police said today.
The incident took place last night when the woman came out of her house along with her mother to dump garbage, they said.
"Some assailants came in a car, kidnapped the woman and drove off towards Delhi," Janak Singh Pundir, Inspector of Daurala police station said.
Police have started tracing the woman but so far no leads have been found in the case.
The woman was supposed to get married on July 6, police said, adding that a case has been registered against the unknown assailants and a manhunt has been launched to nab them.
