A 35-year-old woman and her lover were arrested here in Maharashtra for allegedly abusing police personnel, an official said Wednesday.
According to police, the woman, who was heavily drunk, had created a ruckus at a housing society in the wee hours, and a police team was sent to the spot.
After seeing the police personnel, the woman argued with them and also abused them, the official said.
When the duo were taken to Kapurbawdi police station, the woman once again abused the police personnel, he said.
She also threatened to harm herself and blame it on police personnel, he said.
The duo were booked under various sections of the IPC and arrested.
