The woman complained that she was asleep last evening when her neighbour Kamal Kishore forcefully entered the house and raped her, police said.
He also threatened her of dire consequences before fleeing from the spot, they said.
The woman has been sent for medical examination and the search for the absconding accused is on.
An FIR has been registered under section 376 and 506 of the IPC based on her complaint, police said, adding that an investigation is underway.
