Woman threatened with acid attack

Three men allegedly threatened a 20-year-old woman with acid attack and beat her brother after he objected to them for harassing her in Kidwai Nagar, police said today.
The accused have been on the run since the incident was reported to the police yesterday, they said.
A case has been registered against the accused.
In another incident, a youth was beaten up and threatened of dire consequences by two men when he opposed the harassment of his 17-year-old sister when she was on her way to school in Azmat area.
Both the accused have been absconding, police said.
