An 80-year-old woman was allegedly murdered by suspected robbers in Jaipur on Saturday, police said.
Three unidentified persons broke a window grill and entered a residence in Mansarovar area. They overpowered the grandson of the octogenarian, Pushpa Devi, and then attacked her with some tools. The woman died due to excessive bleeding, said Vikas Pathak, superintendent of police, Jaipur (south), said.
Police have seized the CCTV footage that showed the three accused moving out of the residence, he said.
The body was handed over to the family members after post-mortem examination. Further investigation is on in the matter, police said.
