Kitchen appliances firm TTK Prestige today said workers at its Roorkee plant in Uttarakhand have gone on a strike.
"The workmen at the above unit have gone on a strike which is considered illegal as the conciliation proceedings are still going on," TTK Prestige said in a BSE filing.
"It may be noted that this disruption is not likely to have any material impact on the company's business in the short run as the company is carrying adequate stocks and has alternative manufacturing options," it added.
Shares of TTK Prestige were trading 0.54 per cent lower at Rs 6,343 apiece on BSE in the afternoon trade today.
