"We are working on turning Indore into an IT hub. Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Infosys have started setting up their projects. Besides, some other companies too are going to start their work which will generate employment in IT sector for scores of youths," Chouhan told an election meeting at Chota Bagdanda area here.
The elections for city mayor and 85 corporators will held on January 31, while counting will take place on February 4.
He said that gardens will be developed in these places and shortage of funds won't hinder developmental works.
The Chief Minister along with BJP's mayoral candidate Malini Gaud and other nominees in the elections fray took part in the road shows across the city.
He promised to work for turning Indore into one of the best cities of the world in next five years.
