The median and average stipend increased by over 20 per cent, with a highest stipend of Rs 5 lakh for two months, XLRI said in a release.
More than 90 companies offered roles across various domains, including consulting, finance, sales and marketing, operations, business development, human resources and industrial relations, it said.
Apart from the traditional recruiters, multiple new companies that were added to the recruiters' list this year hired a large number of students as well.
In sector-wise split, FMCG stayed at the top with a 27 per cent share, followed by sales and marketing (25 per cent) and finance (20 per cent).
