Globally, the company has set a target of one million members in one year, out of which 10 per cent is expected to be from India.
"India is home to yoga...We are expecting to reach around 1,00,000 members by end of 2016," YogaTrail.Com Founder and CEO Alex Klein told PTI.
He further said: "Globally, we are looking at reaching a figure of one million members in one year from now and India will be a big part of this."
The United Nations had in December last year declared June 21 as International Yoga Day.
On the business model the company, Klein said: "Currently the revenues are coming through the premium offerings on our platform for yoga professionals as it gives them better visibility."
Going forward, he said the portal will become a "market place where transactions will take place. It will start in its most basic form by the end of this year."
