Younger sister of freedom fighter Bhagat Singh passes away

The younger sister of revolutionary freedom fighter Bhagat Singh passed away in Canada at the age of 95.
"Parkash Kaur passed away in Toronto in Canada on Sunday after prolonged illness," a Punjab Government spokesperson said.
She was only twelve years old when her brother was hanged on March 23, 1931 at a Lahore jail.
Incidentally, it was the freedom fighter's 107th birth anniversary yesterday.
Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal has condoled the death of Parkash Kaur and conveyed his heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family.
