The youth, Rohit Sharma, a resident of Akhnoor, was arrested yesterday and has confessed to his crime. The police has also recovered the stolen amount from him, they said.
Vishwa Murti Sharma had filed a written complaint few days back at Akhnoor police station stating that few unknown people had broken the glass panes of his car while it was parked at Daskal area and took away cash worth Rs 50,000 kept inside, police said.
