Dheeraj, who was working in the factory along with his mother, was found hanging from the ceiling fan by his colleagues in a generator room this afternoon, police said.
"His senior had asked him to check the generator kept in the generator room this afternoon. When he did not come back after several hours, his colleagues went to check him there and found him hanging from the ceiling fan. He was taken to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him dead on arrival," a senior police officer said.
"Police is yet to establish reason behind his extreme step as no suicide note has been found from the spot. However, the factory's workers told police that he had been upset for the last few days," officer said.
Dheeraj's body has been sent for postmortem examination to ascertain the exact cause of his death.
