Bholu, son of a retired Army man, shot himself last night. Police said he had a criminal background and was out on bail.
Last night, Bholu spoke to someone over phone till late hours. After he did not come out of the room this morning, his brother found him lying unconscious, they said.
"The deceased had a criminal background and had gone to jail several times. Due to this, his family members too used to maintain distance from him," Dankaur SHO Pravin Kumar said.
The body has been sent for postmortem.
His relatives were trying to cremate him without informing police, they said.
