The incident occurred last evening when the victim, Pradeep was allegedly hit on the neck fatally by two youths identified as Gajraj and Kalia after a squabble, they said.
On the complaint of the victim's elder brother, a case of murder was registered against the two absconding accused, police said.
Efforts are on the nab the absconding accused, they said, adding investigation is underway.
