Youth held with fake Rs 2,000 notes

The BSF has apprehended a youth identified as Sariful Sheikh from 18 Mile area within the jurisdiction of Baishnabnagar Police Station area here and recovered 48 fake Rs 2,000 denomination notes from him, a BSF press release said today.
The youth was apprehended last night and was handed over to the police today, the release said adding, the youth was loitering aimlessly and drew attention of the on duty BSF personnel of the 24 Battalion.
Sariful Sheikh is a resident of Thanapara in Nadia district, the BSF said.
