The incident took place last night when 17-year-old Monu, his uncle Pramod and aunt Madhu alongwith their 2-year-old son Tarun had gone to attend a marriage ceremony at Indergadhi, Station House Officer Virender Yadav said.
While returning back home, Monu, his cousin brother Tarun and his parents were on two different motor cycles.
When Monu was crossing the canal bridge, his motorcycle collided with an unknown vehicle, following which he was badly crushed under the impact of wheels and died on the spot.
A hunt is on for the absconding vehicle and its driver, they said.
