Youth kills girlfriend before committing suicide

Mukesh and Kirti(17), who were having a love affair, went missing from their respective houses in the wee hours and their bullet ridden bodies were recovered from near the village later, police said.

Police claimed that the couple took the extreme step after their families came to know about their relationship.

A country-made pistol was recovered from the spot with empty cartridges, they said, adding that further probes are on.
