The deceased was identified as Jiten Kumar Goud of Bandhaguda village under Badagada police station limits, about 80 km from here. The body was sent for post-mortem.
The killers might have stabbed him to death and then cut the body at different places, said inspector-in charge, Badagada B K Routray.
"Preliminary investigation indicate the murder could be linked to a love affair. Further probe is on," Routray added.
