Youth raped teenage girl on pretext of marriage; held

A 24-year-old youth was today arrested for allegedly raping a teenaged girl on the pretext of marrying her.
The accused, Kirtiraj, had befriended the 16-year old girl and raped her on the pretext of marriage, leading to her pregnancy, police said.
He abused the girl's relatives when they approached him,prompting the victim's mother to lodge a complaint with the All Woman Police Station.
A case was registered against Kirtiraj and he was arrested, police said.
