Accused Mangla Bagriya and his mother were arrested from Bengaluru on Wednesday and produced before the district judge court yesterday, said Dayaram Meena, Circle Incharge (CI), Dei police station.
According to police, Mangla and his mother Prembai worked as labourers in Bengaluru where the accused came in contact with the minor girl and her 11-year-old brother.
Mangla lured the brother-sister duo to their makeshift accommodation, Meena said, adding the accused raped the minor girl several times there.
The matter came to light when the victim girl and her brother were found abandoned near Motipura village in May this year following which they were produced before the Child Welfare Committee (CWC), Bundi.
The victim narrated her plight and alleged that Mangla had raped her several times, said Meena, adding the victim was also found pregnant.
"With the consent of her guardians, abortion was carried out," said Rekha Sharma, president, CWC, Bundi adding the victim's minor brother was sent to Tagore Bal Ghrah in Bundi.
