YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) would take a decision on whom to support at the Centre after the 2014 general elections on the basis of political situation prevailing then.
"We will decide as per the situation at that time, as per the aspirations of the people of Andhra Pradesh," YSRCP honorary president Y S Vijayamma told reporters here today.
She alleged that Congress indulged in "vindictive politics" and that the ongoing investigation into the alleged disproportionate assets case involving Jaganmohan Reddy is far from being fair.
Replying to further queries on supporting Congress and other such possibilities in the post-poll scenario, she said a decision would be taken after the elections are over.
When told that AICC General Secretary Digvijay Singh, who visited Hyderabad recently, appeared to be extending a hand of friendship, Vijayamma said: "Does the prevailing circumstances look so? 13 months are over after Jagan's arrest. Bail is a constitutional right. One should get bail after 90 days. Is CBI following any rule? Such an inquiry is not there in world history."
She felt that the two major coalitions at the national level -- UPA and NDA -- are not gaining in strength.
Vijayamma expressed confidence that the YSRCP would do well in Telangana region even if separate state is formed.
She said her recent tour in Telangana districts received overwhelming response on account of the good work done by late Rajasekhara Reddy.
The YSRCP is believed to be weak in Telangana due to the separate statehood sentiment prevailing in the region.
Replying to a query, she alleged that Jagan is "targeted" even in resolving the Telangana issue.
"Otherwise, why would 'Rayala-Telangana' (formation of Telangana state with two Rayalaseema districts made a part of it) and division of Rayalaseema would surface," she said.
