Police said they were arrested based on a complaint by Aneesh Ponath, a 33-year-old Morcha activist, andwere later let off on "station bail."
The workers had allegedly attacked Aneesh and slapped his face in the early hours of today, they said.
Sources close to Aneesh alleged that he was attacked by RSS activists for putting a Facebook post against BJP state president Kummanam Rajasekharan in connection with corruption charges against some of the party leaders.
