The 43-year-old star said he would be keen to reprise his character, Alan Garner, again in the distant future, reported Contactmusic.
"If we all reach 90, I would, for sure, do another one. No one would care but it would be fun, wouldn't it?," he said.
Asked where he sees his character in 20 years, he said, "'Hangover 16'! Alan will still be making the same mistakes and probably have nine children."
Galifianakis finds it weird when he meets fans who just want to speak about him for a whole conversation, and admits people often think he looks like Alan but fail to realise he plays the 'Hangover' character.
"People are usually nice and fun. But when you're stuck with someone and all they wanna talk about is you ... It's a weird relationship.
