Former 'Heroes' actor Zachary Quinto is set to play a patient in a guest-starring role in the next season of TV series 'Hannibal'.
The stint will reunite him with Bryan Fuller, who was previously a writer on 'Heroes'.
Quinto, 37, is expected to appear in at least one episode, playing a patient who is under the care of Gillian Anderson's Bedelia, reported Entertainment Weekly.
The new season will premiere this summer on NBC. Michael Pitt will not be returning as Mason Verger. He will be replaced by Joe Anderson.
Recurring cast include 'The Hobbit' star Richard Armitage as Francis Dolarhyde and Broadway actress Nina Arianda as the love interest to Hugh Dancy's Will Graham.
