Zayn Malik to produce boyband drama TV series

Singer Zayn Malik is producing a boyband drama series of NBC network.
The "Pillowtalk" hitmaker will serve as a producer for the show which mirrors his real-life experience as a former member of One Direction, reported Aceshowbiz.
Zayn, 23, is teaming up with TV producer Dick Wolf for the project which is titled "Boys".
"Dick Wolf is a legend and the opportunity to work with him and NBC to create a compelling drama series is awesome," Zayn said.
It will capture "all the excitement, competition and fun, but also provides an inside look into the pressure that follows," he added.

NBC President Jennifer Salke said they are excited to collaborate with passionate people like Zayn and Wolf.
