Father of actor Micheal Douglas, Douglas is touted as one of the last living legends of Hollywood's Golden Age.
He made his debut in the 1946 film "The Strange Love of Martha Ivers" with Barbara Stanwyck and went on to become a leading box-office star in the '50s-'60s.
