Zinc and lead recover on fresh demand

Zinc and lead prices recovered at the non-ferrous metal market here today on fresh buying by stockists amid renewed demand from alloy industries.
While, select copper and brass utensils scrap slipped owing to lower offtake from consumer industries.
Zinc and lead rose by Rs 3 per kg each to Rs 173 and Rs 135 from Wednesday's close at Rs 170 and Rs 132, respectively.
However, copper utensils edged down by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 336 as compared Rs 338 yesterday.
Copper sheet cuttings and brass utensils scrap softened by a Re per kg each to Rs 353 and Rs 266, respectively.
