Zinc futures prices today fell 0.43% to Rs 127.50 per kg as participants reduced their positions largely in line with a weakening trend overseas and subdued domestic spot demand.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc for delivery in February traded lower by 55 paise, or 0.43%, to Rs 127.50 per kg, with a business turnover of four lots.
The metal for delivery in January shed 55 paise, or 0.35%, to Rs 127.05 per kg in a turnover of 116 lots.
Marketmen said the fall in zinc prices at futures trade was mostly in line with a weak overseas and subdued demand at the spot markets.
