ZunRoof launches app to provide one-stop solar solutions

Solar rooftop company ZunRoof has launched an app to provide one-stop solutions to its users, seeking to harness technology to better serve customers.

According to ZunRoof founder and CEO Pranesh Chaudhary, the app is an "integrated type in which pre-order process, in-process, after installation process facilities are provided in a very feasible manner".

Customers need to create their own profile to access the ZunRoof app, through which they can visualise the site for installation of the rooftop solar system, make analysis of their bills and confirm their order as well.

Through the app, the customers can get answers to all their questions, whether related to system size estimation, installation process update or monitoring of output after installation.

Chaudhary noted that the app has various tools.

"Through the direction tool we can decide which direction will give the best output for our installation, which inclination angle would be best to receive maximum solar radiations. The VR tool gives an idea about how a solar panel will look after installation so that best place on roof for solar panel can be determined," he said in a statement.

For better understanding of savings on electricity bill through solar installation, the app also makes available a comparison between electricity bill and solar installation system details, which includes the property type, system type as well as recommended and selected size.

A rooftop solar system is one in which solar panels are mounted on the roof of residential, commercial, institutional or industrial buildings to generate electricity.
