Govt says no timeline to open up coal industry for commercial mining

NEW DELHI (Reuters) - India has not set a timeline for implementing a new policy that will open up its coal industry to commercial mining by private firms as and when required, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said on Monday.

Jaitley said only Indian companies will be allowed to undertake commercial mining.
