India markets closed Thursday and Friday for holidays

MUMBAI (Reuters) - India's stock, debt, and currency markets will be closed on Thursday and Friday for domestic holidays. Trading will resume on Monday.
The benchmark BSE index rose 1.91 percent, while the broader NSE index gained 1.84 percent on Wednesday.
The benchmark 10-year bond rose 2 basis points to 7.44 percent from its previous close, while the rupee weakened slightly to 66.64/65 from 66.4250/4350.
