NSE REPORT
The wholesale debt market segment at the National Stock Exchange clocked a trading volume of Rs 254.13 crore yesterday of which trades worth Rs 12 crore was done in the repo segment and the treasury bill segment contributed to a volume of Rs 9 crore.
The day saw dull trading on account of it being the reporting Friday for bank's product.

The Telco commercial paper maturing on August 7, was traded for Rs 10 crore at a yield of 10.40 per cent. The 11.75 per cent government loan maturing on 2001 was traded for Rs 30 crore at the weighted average yield of 11.40 per cent. The same paper saw a repo deal worth Rs 10 crore being concluded for a term of seven days and at the rate of 7.85 per cent. The 11.64 per cent government loan maturing on 2000 was traded for Rs 35 crore at the weighted average yield of 11.07 per cent. The paper was traded for a low of Rs 100.96, touched a high of Rs 101.06, and closed at Rs 101.
The 11.10 per cent government loan maturing on 2003 saw a repo trade for Rs 2 crore. The repo traded was done for a term of three days and at the rate of 5.10 per cent. The 364-day treasury bill maturing on July 3, 1998 was traded Rs 9.50 crore at the weighted average yield of 6.79 per cent.
