Wockhardt will pay between Rs 250 and Rs 300 per share for the stake. This is significantly higher than the bid made by Glaxo earlier of Rs 150 and Rs 170. Wockhardt, it would seem, is on an acquisition spree. It has also earlier acquired the US-based Wallis Laboratories through its 100 per cent subsidiary Wockhardt (Europe) Limited fora price of $5 million.
