Scampi Fry, India's first aquaculture software, has hit the market. The software envisages replacing human consultants with computers to manage hatcheries. The software, meant for freshwater prawn hatcheries, is programmed simply by Aqua Software, a company at Cherai, so that even a layman can easily operate a hatchery.
